Physical Intervention

We would like to remind all possible candidates at this point that the physical intervention course is added as a last resort measure; aggression on the course will not be tolerated.

Our physical intervention course meets the SIA minimum criteria as it has been risk assessed and endorsed by independent bodies, including the Institute of Conflict Management and Skills for Security, to ensure that it is up to the standards expected and is as safe as reasonably practical for the aggressor and defender.

This one day course is fully certified by ONE Awards (part of the NOCN Group), awarded through McCormack Training Ltd., and delivered by fully qualified instructors who have experience within the security industry and hold a Nationally Accredited Awarding Body Certificate to deliver both basic and advanced physical intervention.

An optional unit of Advanced Physical Intervention is available for any candidate wishing to take part. We currently deliver McCormack Training Ltd Endorsed Programme for Advanced Physical Intervention. This system has been independently risked assessed by the Institute of Conflict Management. This is the first system of techniques to be certificated and endorsed by ONE Awards (part of the NOCN Group).
