This course meets the mandatory Refresher Training requirements for Door Supervisor to retain their SIA licence, in accordance with the specification set by the SIA. This qualification is certified by Highfield Qualifications.
The course content includes searching, vulnerable people, terrorism awareness, spiking awareness, and physical intervention.

The Door Supervisor Refresher course is for existing license holders, or those who have had a license recently expire, who wish to renew or reapply for their Door Supervisor license from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). This is a mandatory requirement as of 1st April 2025.
If you completed your original Door Supervisor course before April 2021, you must have completed a Door Supervisor Top-Up course and a Door Supervisor Refresher qualification to be able to renew your license. If you have not completed a Top-Up course, you will need to complete a full 6-day course to be able to get a new license. The Top-Up course has been discontinued by the SIA as of November 2024, and so cannot be completed after this time.
If your license expired more than 3 years ago, you will need to complete the 6-day Door Supervisor course to be able to get a new license.

Results of the multiple-choice exams are available approximately 2 weeks after the course end date. We will contact learners to inform them of their results, and completed qualifications will be automatically uploaded to the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
On passing all of the assessments and examinations, you will be able to apply to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and make payment to gain your Door Supervisor license. You will also receive a digital certificate for your records.
The Door Supervisor Refresher course is held over 2 days and requires self-study to be completed and submitted prior to the course date.
This course is available from £140+VAT per person (£168 inc. VAT).
If you need to gain an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification to meet the prerequisite requirements, a bundle deal is also available from £190+VAT per person (£228 inc. VAT).
The cost includes all examinations, course materials, and certification. If anyone should fail an exam, a free resit will be offered.
