Level 1
This qualification is designed for those learners either currently working or those returning or starting work and wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification in health and safety.
Under the Health & Safety at Work (etc.) Act 1974, employers are required to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees, and visitors to site.
Level 2
This qualification is designed to provide learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices essential in the workplace.
Level 2
Manual Handling injuries are the cause of most lost working days in the UK, including sprains and strains due to the incorrect lifting and moving of loads.
Level 2
The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the responsibilities of employers; the main causes and costs of work-related fatalities, injuries and ill-health.
Level 2
This qualification is aimed at learners who work in an environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely.
There are two Fire Safety courses Level 1 and Level 2.
The level 1 is for all employees to have an understanding of fire awareness whereas the Level 2 qualification is those who wish to become fire marshals.
Level 1
The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is a qualification aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.
Level 2
The Level 2 Award in Managing Fire Safety is a qualification aimed at the management of fire safety in any workplace.
