Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) (Level 2)

BeerThe law requires alcohol sales on licenced premises to be made or authorised by a personal licence holder. Individuals applying for a personal licence must hold an accredited licensing qualification such as the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).

Door Supervision Certificate (Level Two)

SecurityThe Door Supervisor Level Two Certificate is for anyone for whom it would be considered a necessity or, for anyone who is looking to enter an ever expanding security industry. This includes the Physical Intervention course which is now a compulsory element in order to obtain a licence. As of January 2015 the course is now held over 5 days.

Upskilling Door Supervisors

SecurityIn March 2012 the SIA announced the intention to require existing Door Supervisors who had achieved the pre-QCF Door Supervision qualification (for example the National Certificate for Door Supervision) to undertake additional training in order to renew their licence.

The new qualification, as of January 2015, is run over 2 days and comprises of two mandatory units; Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors and Physical Intervention.
